ACCESS STATEMENT
INTRODUCTION
Situated in the Dartmoor National Park, the Hotel is located on the edge of the small village of Ilsington and has a large car park with level access to the front door. It is perfect for leisure breaks and also welcomes business travellers as well. Rooms are accessible by a lift situated adjacent to the reception area and six of the rooms are on the ground floor.

PRE-ARRIVAL
For full details and maps of how to reach us please see the directions section of our website. There is no public transport to Ilsington and so the best way to arrive is by car. Please do not use Satellite Navigation to arrive. The nearest railway station is Newton Abbot which is on the main train line from Paddington to Penzance. It is approximately 8 miles away and there are taxis available at the station.
Car Parking and Arrival.
A car park for the use of hotel guests is located at the front of the property and there is one space dedicated for disabled guests. Luggage may be dropped off at the door.
Main Entrance / Reception / Welcome Area
Reception is located on the ground floor immediately upon entering the hotel, with three steps or a gentle ramped area. The doors leading to reception do not have automatic opening Assistance with registration and luggage can be offered.?Seating is available at reception.
Bedrooms
1st and second floor rooms are accessible by lift and there are six ground floor rooms.?Most rooms have bath with shower over. The three deluxe rooms have walk-in shower and one of the suites does not have a shower. Twin, single, double and family rooms are available.
Public Areas, Halls, Stairs, Landings, Corridors
All public areas and corridors have fitted with carpets, except the reception and bar which has a wooden floor.
Restaurant/Dining Room, Bar & Bar area
Restaurant and Bar are located on the ground floor. Tables are well spaced allowing free access. Chairs and sofas in the bar are both soft and comfortable and arranged with tables at a lower level suitable for informal dining. Tables with chairs set for formal dining are also available. Both natural daylight and artificial lighting are present. Breakfast and dinner is served in the restaurant which is on the ground floor.
Public Toilets
Public Toilets are located on the ground floor and there is one dedicated disabled toilet.
Spa
The Spa is located on the ground floor and can be accessed from the hotel via a gentle ramped area.
Conference and Meeting Rooms
Conference rooms are located on the ground floor. A mixture of artificial and natural daylight is offered. Wall and overhead lighting is in place which are controlled by dimmers. A full range of audio visual equipment is available.
